Spectrum Worldwide appointed as consultants to Sport 18 in India

28 August, 2009, Singapore - Spectrum Worldwide were recently appointed as consultants to Sport18 a division of Network18 - leading Indian broadcasters to launch and deliver the inaugural Bangalore Cyclothon - a mass participation cycling event to be staged in Bangalore on 11 October 2009.
The event modelled along similar lines to the hugely successful OCBC Cycle Singapore which Spectrum Worldwide created and delivered in February this year will offer an elite 50km event and 25km event and is expected to attract around 5,000 participants.
Spectrum Worldwide has been engaged to consult on the overall event concept, route and venue design, traffic management, athlete welfare and event logistics. On the ground planning and implementation will be carried out by Sport 18,( the sports arm of Network 18's) and, in addition to ongoing consultancy, Spectrum Worldwide will provide event day staff including Managing Director Chris Robb who will act as overall Race Director on event day.
