Seeking volunteers for the Mothers Day Classic

Now in its 12th year nationally, the Mothers Day Classic is the leading fund raising event for breast cancer. The event is a combination of a 4km & 8km run and 4km & 8km walk, which has raise in excess of $4.4 million to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, allowing them to continue supporting valuable research into finding prevention and a cure for breast cancer. Last year, the Sydney events attracted almost 9,000 (Domain) and over 3,000 (Parramatta) participants respectively.

Once again, in 2009 the Mothers Day Classic will be held both in the Domain, Sydney and also in Parramatta Park, Parramatta (now in its third year) to cater for both volunteers and walkers/runners of western Sydney. Both events will run simultaneously on Mothers Day morning.

We are seeking volunteers to assist at this year's event which will be held on Sunday 10th May, for both The Domain (Sydney) and Parramatta Park (Parramatta). As in previous years, the event relies on the support of volunteers who play an integral role in the success of the day. Both pre-event and also on the day roles are available for you to be involved in.

To register as a volunteer at either of these locations, please click on our online registration form.
